Commencement of offer period for the voluntary offer for all shares in Simrad Optronics ASA made by Rheinmetall AG
With reference to the joint stock exchange notice from Simrad Optronics ASA and Rheinmetall AG on 6 May 2010 regarding the recommended voluntary cash offer for all issued and outstanding shares in Simrad Optronics ASA (the "Offer"), Rheinmetall AG today announces the commencement of the offer period. The offer price is NOK 8.25 per share in cash. The offer period will start today Wednesday, 12 May 2010 and ends 17:30 (Norwegian time) on Wednesday, 26 May 2010.
The offer document will be sent to all eligible shareholders of Simrad Optronics ASA as of 11 May 2010 and is also available from www.first.no, www.rheinmetall.com and www.simrad-optronics.no
